Engage Dormant and Uninsured Dental Patients with Kleer's Automated Marketing Feature
You can opt-in to Kleer’s automated marketing feature directly in your Practice Portal. When you enable this feature Kleer's proprietary integration solution automatically identifies patients in your practice management software (PMS) that are a good fit for your membership plan, which includes:
- Active (visited your practice in the last year) Uninsured (no insurance)
- Dormant (not active) Uninsured
- Dormant Insured (have record of an insurer, but it has likely changed)
With your permission, Kleer will send personalized emails that engage patients through two of the following automated campaigns:
- Announcement Campaign: Five emails across 90 days to non-member patients to announce your membership plan.
- Seasonal Campaign: One email each quarter of the year to each non-member patient to remind them of the availability of your membership plan offering.
Kleer also tracks the response rates and results of each campaign to show you the impact it has on your success.
How to turn on automated marketing:
Current Kleer Pro customers who have PMS Sync Features enabled can turn on automated marketing by going to:
- “Product Settings”
- Click “Edit”
- Under “PMS Sync Features” click “Settings” under the Automated Marketing Column
- Check “Allow Automated Marketing to Your Patients”
- Check “Accept Automated Marketing Terms and Conditions”
- Check one or both of the campaign settings to begin marketing to patients.
Within a week eligible patients with valid emails will start to receive emails.
Put your brand front and center:
If your practice has Brand Personalization enabled, all email communication will be custom branded accordingly.
If nothing is preset OR Brand Personalization is disabled in your Kleer Portal, neutral branding will be applied, but your practice’s information will still be used (name, landing page, etc).

Over the course of the three month "announcement campaign" practices achieved the following results:
- 11 membership sales (on average) that could be directly tied back to email marketing through tracking each patient email “open” and “click” action.
- A 55% increase (on average) in membership sales during the time of the email marketing campaign.
- 70% of new memberships sold (on average) came from the Active Uninsureds segment.
